How is it almost December? The last few months flew by and my Goodreads reading challenge is waiting for me to get a move on. I thought blogging again might make me refocus on reading and I just returned to Scribd (now Everand), so I can't complain about not having anything worthwhile to read.
TBR
My TBR is surely toppling over, but which books to make a priority for the last month? I'm in the middle of so many, pausing because another wonderful title caught my interest rather than abandoning anything because I don't enjoy it.
But some I will prioritize and put more effort to finish this year:
In the Queue
My Scribd/Everand queue is overflowing, the catalogue is just that good. I prefer not to read too much on screens, but I simply cannot resist the easy access. I found some great poetry collections and memoirs and novellas on there, which are wonderful both in terms of length and also my attention span of recent years. I've been eyeing That Time of Year, Rifqa and I Am a Body of Land. And then there's that 600 page chunkster that's Tananarive Due's newest work The Reformatory. I've been eagerly anticipating it for like a year, so I will absolutely try to get through it in the coming weeks.
Why ever wouldn't I suddenly be able to read all the books I didn't get to in the last 11 month? *facepalm*
How about your reading plans for the rest of 2023?
